Our Mission

Grace Lutheran Church of Green Bay is a family of believers who, through the love of our Savior Jesus Christ, are offered hope and worth.  Acknowledging God's free gifts of forgiveness and eternal life, we use our diverse talents to declare and share God's message in the community.

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit we accept our mission to:

• Celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in our whole lives and grow and to be strengthened by praising God and giving Him thanks.

• Teach the scriptures with a variety of personal learning opportunities.

• Witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and proclaim the good news with joy, love and praise.

• Create and sustain a Caring community sharing ourselves with love, compassion and faith.

Also, Youth Ministry at Grace is given a high priority by the congregation.

APOSTLES' CREED

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.

On the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.
